How to use pocket cloth diapers. Pocket style cloth diapers are said to be the easiest style of cloth diapers . They resemble plastic diapers and once stuffed with absorbent liners go onto baby just like a disposable, with the addition of a bunch of buttons to make it size adjustable. Unlike flats or pre-folds there’s no origami to be done just stuff and go!

To get a pocket cloth diaper ready to put on baby you have to put absorbent inserts into it. I like to use bamboo and cotton it seems to give the best absorbency for my heavy wetter ( https://amzn.to/3Y5fmpf )
Grab the tips of your layered inserts and pull them all the way to the top of the diaper. Pinch the outside of the top of the diaper to hold the inserts inside while you pull your hand out and ensure the inserts don’t fold onto their sides.
Now that your diaper is stuffed with the optimal amount of absorbency you can store it near your diaper changing station for easy access I like to snap the buttons on my diapers and store them in baskets near our common changing areas. Alternatively you can store all your cloth laundry in a basket and stuff as you go.
And that’s how you use a pocket cloth diaper. I hope this helps you on your cloth journey! If you have anymore questions check out my other cloth diapering posts or let me know in the comments.
